Critical Organizational Justice and Graduate Student Unionization

Working as a team of researchers from the University of Maryland and University of Texas at Austin, we are reviewing literature concerning graduate student unions from a lens of critical organizational justice. Findings will be presented at ASHE 2023 in Minneapolis, MN. 

College Student Government Leaders’ Experiences and Engagement in Advocacy for Reproductive Justice

Working as a team of researchers from The University of Texas at Austin, University of Nebraska–Lincoln, University of Arkansas, and University of Georgia, Drs. Goodman, Garcia, DiLorento-Hill and Gloria Peña-Spener are actively recruiting participants for a research study concerning college student government leaders’ experiences and engagement in advocating for reproductive justice. Participants must identify as:

·  (1) individuals 18-years of age or older

·  (2) an undergraduate student enrolled in a U.S. institution for postsecondary education

·  (3) involved in collegiate student government

·  (4) participated in advocacy efforts for reproductive justice.

Working as a member of a team led by Drs. Amy Stich & Karen Webber, Alexa and her colleagues are examining undergraduate students’ access to work-related experiential activities (WREAs) and how those contribute to future employment. This research study is funded by the National Science Foundation. Findings will be presented at ASHE 2023 in Minneapolis, MN.
